Count Me In! - Affordable Functional Skills Resources

With the news that there may be as few as 12,000 diploma students in UK schools this year, it’s clear that in many cases the number per centre will be low.

On top of all the other challenges of running a new diploma programme, this adds a new problem; reduced economies of scale.

To help with this - and to ensure schools get the resources they need to teach functional skills - Guroo have introduced the “Count Me In!” subscription model. This is an alternative to whole-school subscriptions and means a school pays a low setup fee plus a price per pupil. As the school’s diploma programme grows, they can add individual pupil subscriptions until it becomes more economical to subscribe on a whole-school basis.
